Moving Plus will conduct an extensive assessment to determine your needs. Our professional team will guide you through the decision making process. By modifying your lifestyle you can make time for the things you enjoy.
Develop a Plan

I have lived in my home for many years and the thought of moving is overwhelming. How do I manage all the decisions, appointments and service providers in my home? Moving Plus will manage all the details. Short organized appointments with you will help us develop an Action Plan. This will provide you with a step by step plan of every detail for your move. You and your family can follow the steps on your own to complete your move or you can retain Moving Plus to manage what you don’t want to do yourself. We have an extensive list of trusted service providers who will help to complete all the tasks and we will be there every step of the way.
Preparing to Move

What do I do with a lifetime of memories and treasures? Moving Plus is there to help. Together we can determine what you will need for your new home. Our interior designer will help you prepare a floor plan, pick the furniture you will be taking, decorate and set up your new home. We work with you to help disperse treasures to family and loved ones. Items that are no longer needed can be auctioned or given to charitable organizations. All remaining debris is removed, repairs completed and your home prepared for sale. Staging and sale of your home can be arranged if needed. We make all the arrangements and supervise all the activities.

How much will this service cost me?

This is a customized service, so you can control the costs. Our initial consultation is free and you determine if we can help. There is a set fee associated with developing the customized Action Plan which will list every task or service needed to organize your move. You can decide which tasks you want to complete and we’ll do the rest. This is a custom plan as each client’s needs are unique.

What if I don’t want all the services listed in the Action Plan?

You may choose just the services you wish and you are free to use your own service providers.

How can I help my parents move when I live so far away?

Moving Plus can do the work for you. We will keep you informed at every step of the process by telephone or email. Regular reports are provided to suit your schedule.

Can we pick our own movers, realtors and cleaners?

Definitely yes. Our action plan outlines the tasks and chores that must be completed to move. You can follow the plan yourself or you can have us do some of it for you. We have a trusted team of service providers that we are happy to recommend if you need them.
